Richly illustrated album released by the Oficyna Wydawnicza Volumen, Rada Ochrony Pamięci Walk i Męczeństwa and Stowarzyszenie Pokolenie in collaboration with the Instytut Pamięci Narodowej to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II and 20th anniversary of the independence of Poland. The synthetic method shows Polish military effort during World War II, post-war heroic battle with the machinery of the Soviet and domestic terrorism, riots of the 1968, 1970 and 1976, epic "Solidarity" and the contribution of the Polish nation in the final victory over communism.
