In Poland, the making of decorations with straw dates back to the time when the only available materials for decorations were those that were found on the farm. During the beginning of the Christmas season, village folk would decorate homes creatively and ornately using straw, paper, yarn, and cloth ornaments.

These small reindeer shaped decorations are based on traditional Polish straw decorations and held together by red string.

Straw products are based on traditional Polish folk designs however, in order to offer them at an affordable price levels, they are manufactured in China.
