Dar Pomorza Sailboat Replica in a Bottle

This hand made beautiful Polish sailboat model is of the Dar Pomorza, one of the most famous Polish naval sail ships ever. The bottle is mounted on a wooden base with a "DAR POMORZA" plaque.

Originally built in Hamburg, Germany, as a training vessel for German cadets, it was given to France as reparation for World War I. Shortly afterwards, it was sold to the Polish Government. Under the Polish Flag, the ship was in service for 50 years! Since 1981, the ship has served as a stationary museum in the Gdynia Harbor.
