Creating paper wycinanki dates back to the mid 19th century. Wycinanki initiated with Polish shepherds cutting designs out of tree bark and leather. The ornate decorations were then hung in windows, used on furniture or roof beams, or given as gifts. Magnet designed to be placed on a refrigerator or other stationary metal surface.
