This satire of the Polish film industry offers a humorous look at the 'business' of movies. It centers around the complicated relationship between Yanek, a film critic who is complains regularly about poorly-made Polish films, a gangster who wants to help his girlfriend Donata realize her dream of becoming a movie star and a cast and crew of strange characters. Yanek soon realizes there is a big difference between making movies and reviewing them.
